We Need End Game PVP (Suggestions List)
I love the crucible
I love the raids too. Half the time. The other half I just find them tedious. But I need to do them for my chances at exotics, high level gear, and good weapons.
However if pvp was set up to be equally as rewarding as the raids (not in terms of the same gear but equal gear), I would probably spend 90% of my time in the crucible. The rush I get from going up against other guardians just can't be matched for me in pve.
Here's some ideas to make end game pvp possible for players like myself
- Some form of ranking system
- Vanity items attached to achievements in the crucible. This alone could be so easy to implement, would not upset game balance, and would give crucible players unique items to chase.
- Crucible gear that is on par with raid gear and weapons in terms of light and attack. (Not just iron banner gear). Maybe these pieces of gear could be attached to long term pvp bounties in a similar fashion to exotic bounties like Thorn
- Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Crucible missions or events that reward exotics or legendaries upon completion
- More game mode variety.
- Custom Games
- Community generated pvp content available to all players
- Faction "Champion" bounties. Given out by faction vendors, these bounties require you to complete tasks in the crucible wearing your faction item. Awards high level faction gear and unique faction vanity items.
Destiny is a loot game. Therefore, while pvp can be played just for fun, it needs to be equally as rewarding as pve in terms of loot.
Keep up the good work Bungie. The Crucible is a great start, please make it amazing.

10 Repliespvp is ruining destiny. more pvp crying getting more weapons nerfed. just stfu and stop ruining destiny ( pve ) was nerfing ARs to the point they are useless not enough for you pvp shitheads !!!!!!!!!! everytime there is poll " which do you play more" or " why did you buy destiny " its 90% pve and 10% pvp so bungie nerds to stop with pvp.

Light level doesn't really matter in PVP right? Iron banner is a pve event in a PVP setting. It is designed for those who spend all of their time in PVE to try PVP. So why not have armor with the light level of prior raid tier. So you can't get to the level cap with crucible gear (so pve isn't unbalanced), but the crucible gear gives more perks good for PVP. Such as patience in time vs icebreaker. The cloke/radar always active are not really necessary perks on pve but great for PVP. So make PVP armor have better perks. Such as getting revived faster (like the exotic chest, but have it for legendary). I'm not sure what all the perks would be because it would have to be balanced, but this would let crucible players have specific gear different from pve, but it would upset the pve balance because it is no good for end game pve due to light level.

Get rid of pvp??? WHAT?!!!! HAHA!!!! Pvp is the only good thing about destiny, but I don't know, the repetitive strikes and raids have me coming back for more.

The lag in pvp is god awful, I literally ran up, shot a guy in the face with a shotgun. Then he turned around and killed me. AND THEN....4 YEARS LATER.... HE DIES....

Here are my thoughts. 1.- PVE is not as rewarding. I have done the Nightfall for at least 2 months and all I get is shards, energy and coins. 2.- When I do raids I get shards, energy and repeated pieces of armor. 3.- Gear level in normal Crucible doesn't matter it only matters in PVE and IB. 4.- I keep leveling up FWC, NM and DO in all my characters and all I get is Shards, Coins and Marks. 5.- In Crucible I have gotten TLW, Thunderlord, Dragon's Breath and some cool ships. I like to play PVP but this is what annoys me: 1.- Constant lag! 2.- Awful matchmaking system! 3.- People that plays Crucible just to do the easiest bounties without any interest in winning or helping. 4.- The radar. Inferno everywhere please! Cheers.

2 RepliesCompetetive raids. You have the regular team of six that is running the raid and a team of 3 that tries to stop them. There are less adds in this mode, but the players have to try and run through the raid while fending off the team of three. The team of six has normal revive mechanics and the team of 3 will revive after a short duration if killed. Each checkpoint is a chance to fight for the loot drop at the end of that section. The team of 6 gets the loot if they beat the section and the team of 3 gets the loot if they can force a wipe 2 times.

Like wtf do you do on pve when once you complete raids nf etc... Replay roc strikes over and over. Everybodys jumping on to this guy and honestly I think more people would play this game if it was the same thing over and over.

All i really want is light lvl 32 arms for hand cannon reload but iron banner doesnt offer it. I think if they made it so you could reroll the iron banner armor it would be cool. I kind of like this idea though it would make it so every one didnt look the same too

And if you don't play just because you're bad, then keep you f****** opinion to yourself. I'd 1v1 you, but no custom games

Destiny is a Shared world shooter RPG! It was advertised as such convincing people that they would traverse the solar system to bring light back to the traveler to rebirth the golden age! PvP is supposed to be a side thing, to allow player's to be combative against one another with no soul purpose other than to be combative against one another for glory and bragging rights! The idea of a tournament for gear and weapons is a great idea and should be implemented into the PvP experience! They should have weapons and armor that you receive that enrich the PvP experience! Give PvP player's weapons and armor that serves a purpose in PvP!
