Stop Crying About Shotguns in PVP
Everyone has a shotgun in the crucible. I do. But there's a reason.... For close quarters combat. Usually I'll use Hawkmoon, raid shotty, and a heavy, or the Fang, Invective and a heavy. Primary for longer distance engagement, shotgun for close quarters.
I will say that maybe Bungie should make the shotguns 1 shot you to bout 1/16th of your health at any range max, so at least you have a chance to fight back.
Point is, don't cry about people with shotguns. If you know they have one, stay away from them and hit them from afar. You don't have to go running all over the place like a 10 year old playing laser tag.

2 RepliesWhat Bungie has done is make all the other weapons crap so people are naturally gonna use what's most effective. All, and I mean all, of the control maps are set up for cqc. What do you think people are gonna use? A CQ weapon of course.

well unless people whine about shotguns, you aint ever gunna get that 1/16th idea into the game. I dont agree with it either, if you got a shot gun up a guys ass he aint surviving..........

I do agree that no one should be complaining about shotguns. At the same time I dislike the felwinters lie. Why? No one has any taste, just use it cause of the damage n range. Bow don't get it twisted I don't come on here n complain about weapon nerfs!

11 RepliesAlthough I agree with your post, especially when it comes to people running into the enemy and being cannon fodder to then complain they got shotgunned in the face, I do think that the amount of Special Ammo available in PvP is too much, which allows people to run around using their Specials as Primaries.

4 RepliesYou're a moron. If everyone is running shotguns they easily means there are no better options in most scenarios. Dude fusion rifles got nerfed you can't even use them to counter.anymore since they rarely one shot. Sitting back is barely a good answer since they have mobility on their side. Jumping and sliding makes it harder for you to realibly kill. If you want to win a rumble easy use a shotgun easiest gun with the most reward. Anyone who says differently sucks at this game and don't understand proper weapon balance

Not gunna lie, I get killed by shot guns all the time. I'm not the greatest player, but not the worst either and most times it's legit like yea I should have died there lol but sometimes the range is so crazy. Like 20 feet and still a 1 shot kill with some shot guns.
