Just a quick question for all my fellow snipers out there
I love to snipe in pvp, it reminds me of halo and just feels good getting headshots. Shotguns and fusion rifles are cqb and every team needs a solid sniper since most don't use them. So im just wondering this:
Do you get mad when your team walks in front of your perfect shot(s)? I'm wondering because i get angry when this happens and i cant shoot through them, its very common. I was just on a match in rusted lands where i would have destroyed at least 3 people on the other team if one guy didn't walk in front of my shot :(
So thats the question, again:

Sniping in this game is challenging and likewise to games like halo. Although I do not always snipe I really enjoy the challenge.

I don't commonly use snipers in crucible, but when I do it really bugs me when that happens. And I do agree with you, every team needs a solid sniper. Either in PvP or PvE.

On the flip side I've also finished off enemies engaged with a teammate. I'm sure the teammate could feel slighted for kill swiping, or relieved because the enemy would have killed them if I didn't intervene. Goes both ways. Not worth getting worked up over

I only get mad when my teammates try to block my shot. It really pisses me off. Especially since I am playing Clash, seriously dude, WTF are you doing??

1 ReplyI get mad but not at my team mate. How was he supposed to know I was sitting in the back of the map with my sniper going for the guy he was in a gunfight with? I mean it pisses me off but I cant blame the guy/girl.

1 ReplyCant say that happens with my regular fireteam. We call our kills and fan out our positions to a) not waste ammo at potshoting someone who's just about to go down anyway. Also means you know someone is covering that area, so you scope elsewhere. B) by fanning out, its quite rare to walk into a teamates sights, either tanking a bullet or leaving them with a blind scope. Also if a cheeky rocket comes your way, reduced respawns/points. I do agree bubble titan (who I main) can be annoying with ward placement. It depends on your fireteam. If you use blessing of light, you want it where your team can see and utilize itbut not in line of sight.blessing allows the team to fire more shots between cover ducks. Weapons combines really well with guns with volatile payload - keep em pinned 😜

1 Reply...while i do not get mad, it does tell me one thing - the people who do this are completely careless about their surroundings and situation around them, as if i see a crouching, or an ADS sniper (teammate) i will do my best not only NOT to walk into his line of sight, but also to protect him while he is vulnerable (...well, at least as long as he is gettnig some kills, i would probably leave him there if he is just in ADS mode doing absolutely nothing useful))))

Never had it happen with a sniper rifle. But I have had it happen with Rockets and I ended up blowing my self up
