AWESOME NEW WEAPON PERKS

So I recently commented on a forum post about how Bungie was altering weapons in PvE for the sake of PvP balancing, and how it was a bad thing. I must say I agree with that post. So I've been thinking about what potential Bungie could have for making exotic and legendary weapon perks if they didn't have to worry about balancing for PvP. Completely disregarding PvP balancing, let's see what awesomely amazing and creative perks we can come up with. Include the name of the perk you think would be interesting to implement into the game and its ability. Here's a list of some I thought of. (Apologies if someone has already thought of these ideas, I literally typed these out in notepad as I thought of them without any prior research) Weapon perks: [b]Black Plague[/b] - A dot is put on the enemy when shot (similar to Thorn), however this dot spreads to nearby enemies. Ticks for double damage on enemies it spread to. [b]Grenade Launcher[/b] - Load your grenade into your weapon allowing you to fire it at your enemies at high velocity for triple the damage and blast radius. Damage type coincides with grenade type. [b]Armageddon[/b] - Combine all rocket heavy ammo into one single large rocket. Locking onto an enemy and firing sends the rocket above the enemy and it explodes into -insert rocket amount here- and reigns down all rockets onto the target. (7 Gjallarhorns on Rockets Mcdickface? I think so) [b]Now You See Me[/b] - Shots from this weapon grant brief invisibility when they hit a target. Shots fired during invisibility will NOT break it. [b]Reactive[/b] - Like Firefly, except every enemy killed by the explosion also creates its own explosion. [b]Smart Bullets[/b] - Bullets can track the targets percision spot to a degree. (Makes for hitting pesky Hive peanut heads and Atheon's misleading precision spot less of a burden) [b]Mortal Wound[/b] - Shots from this weapon have a chance to slow target's movement speed by 50%. [b]Incapacitate[/b] - Shots from this weapon have a chance to stun the target for 3 seconds. [b]One In The Chamber[/b] (Rocket Launcher) - This Launcher has only 1 rocket, however it can regenerate that rocket every 2 seconds. [b]Guessing Game[/b] - This weapon recognizes burns and shields and automatically switches to that damage type. [b]Slug Rounds[/b] (Shotgun) - This weapon fires slug rounds, significantly increasing range and accuracy and slightly increasing impact. [b]Options[/b] (Hand Cannon) - This weapon is not a revolver. [b]Rail Gun[/b] (Fusion Rifle) - This weapon has no ammo. Instead it has a battery level that can drain and will need to recharge. Allows constant fire of fusion rifle until battery drains completely. (Like Pocket Infinity except full auto instead of bursty) [b]Trade-Off[/b] - This weapon does slightly lower precision damage than most weapons but can perform a critical strike anywhere on an enemy. Can also critical strike minotaurs. P.S. Don't limit yourself to weapons. Feel free to think of armor perks as well. :)

  • How about a simple rifle butt melee option. I guess that could be for all weapons, get stabby with a bayonet or crush heads with the meaty end of a rocket launcher... Doesn't need to deal more dmg than normal, but some variety in moves, speed of atk and range would be nice:)
