I've been playing Destiny since launch and just recently started to get "burned out." My brother picked it up a couple weeks ago. My brother and my life situation are completely opposite. He's all corporate, wife and only really has time to GAME on the weekends. Me, I game full time and really only have time to work on the weekends. ;) He picked up his PS4 at the same time and a bunch of games, AC: Unity, Far Cry 4, Shadow of Mordor, Metro Redux, etc. I wasn't going to tell him to get Destiny because I thought it might be too grindy for him, but he asked me if he should get it and I was like "Why not?!" I played through a lot of the campaign with him, beat it and... figured his interest would wane. I'm surprised that Destiny is his go to game AND he's researching it at work... lol Anyhow, he admitted today that he's hooked. I'm excited for him for when he gets his first piece of purple, first exotic, first purchase from Xur and... THE VOG! Anyone who's "bored" with Destiny either just didn't get into it (it's not everyone's cup of tea, nothing wrong with that) or logged some serious hours (I imagine at least a hundred, most likely several hundred). We were on a mission and a public event popped up and he was like "What is this sh[u][/u]it?! Is this part of the mission?" lol I forgot how confused I was when I ran into my first public event... Anyhow, it's fun experiencing Destiny "for the first time" again. [spoiler]He also texted me about this app that lets you know when public events are happening... n00b! lol[/spoiler]
