NEED HELP GETTING CRYPTID 4.6C HELMET
I've been looking for the Cryptid 4.6C helmet for the past couple weeks because I think it looks cool. I've been doing various strikes in hopes I would get it in a rare/blue engram but I haven't got it yet.
Is there a specific mission or strike that increases my chances of getting Cryptid gear???

Hey PERCEIVE ME! I actually keep this helmet around myself. I like collecting cool looking gear. I got mine from a Crucible match. Like other rare gear, it has a chance to drop from Strike and Crucible playlists. So far as I'm aware, there's no activity that has an increased drop chance. (I'm not an employee so my knowledge is as good as your own) I'd suggest continuing to play both and seeing what turns up!

You can get the whole Cryptid set by collecting blue engrams from any character. Then if you decrypt them with a hunter under level 8 you will guarantee a Cyptid armor piece every time. I have collected a custom set this way with good perks for the Crucible.

Hello Sir! I am sure you get the CRYPTID 4.C at the Archon Priest or Nexus, maybe even The Mars strike! Good luck finding it.

Loot is all random. You could try grinding strikes for it but there is no guaranteed way to get what you're after. Good luck!
