Please stop balancing the game to appease PvP. This game will never succeed in that area there are already much more refined and enjoyable games out there. If I want to team death match I will play Cod, Battlefield, etc. So please get laser focused on PvE and add more depth and story. This is where the game should be heading for player retention. My personal preference is to never play PvP. Only time I do is to complete exotic bounties from PvE. I want some really B A, OP weapons for PvE not some tamed down well balanced weapons for PvP. I want to pick which weapons I like using not have you do that via buffs and nerfs. I want the weapons to feel fun. I know I can't be the only one who feels this way.

Yeah. Taking data from the crucible and using it to balance the sandbox for PvE is mind numbingly stupid. Like others have been saying here, I play crucible only when I have bounties to do or desperately need marks for something. The reason I avoid the PvP is that Destiny has the worst PvP netcoding I have ever seen. The latency is insufferable because the game makes no effort to filter players via region. I don't know how many times I've run up to a guy with a shotty, shot him, melee, shotty, shotty, shotty, die, then 3 seconds later the guy dies from your melee hit. This is the data we're expected to believe is going to balance our sandbox when killing oracles or dropping sword bearers? Get a -blam!-ing grip. The crucible is an outright failure and should not be the focal point of weapon balancing outside of the limited time IB events. It's sad really, because I'm usually a PvP guy. Just not when connecting to a host player 6000 miles away.
