Two really funny ones I remember happened on the same night, and the victim was the same buddy of mine both times. He was attempting to solo the lanterns phase of CE, and another buddy and I were just along to watch/help him. We had wiped so we could watch him. The first one was, he gets to the plate at the top, trying to figure out the best way to solo kill/survive the ogre on hard. So my other friend tells him to get his Ward of Dawn charged up and use it at the last second and wait it out until the bridge is done, then run like hell. So he changes his subclass and waits and waits and waits for his super. Waits for what feels like forever. Fianlly, it is charged. Activates lantern and bridge plate, jumps on rock, and waits. Ogre spawns, other friend advises him to wait until ogre passes behind big rock and starts shooting. Waits, waits... Buddy says now, pop your bubble! Friend on rock fires rocket, dies immediately by ogre fire. We laughed and laughed and laughed. The other came on his very next try. He makes the jump from the second lantern up, and slowly makes his way to the lone Knight. Pulls out Icebreaker, scopes and strafes around a little to get a clean headshot on him. My buddy and I both see what is about to happen at the same time and yell to warn him, but it was too late. He strafes right into a big hole while scoped. We laughed some more. It was a funny night.
