While both warlock and titan bring very usefull supers to the table with self revive and bubble i personally don't see that much gain in having a hunter in my raid fireteam.
there isn't really much that they bring to the table in a raid envoirment in my opinion. would love to see a good hunter subclass for raids.

Edited by T3mpest: 3/2/2015 6:31:13 PMHmm. Lets work our way through crotas end Abyss- Hunters are easily the best.. With random groups a hunter ends up soloing this more often than not. Bridge: when done properly it's very easy for an invis hunter to stay on a platform and keep it up since they can keep going invisible. The best, maybe not, but there isn't a "better" class per say here.. Hunters are also beasts at getting the chest at the end of the hallway, again with randoms they tend to be the ones to get it. Deathsingers- Hunters can invis to kill shriekers and I use my invis to go right up in the room with the deathsinger when she starts her song. With other classses that much harder to do. There are alternate stratgies for locks and titans, but again hunters aren't a hindrance. Crota-LMFAO, we all know what the best swordbearing class is all things equal. They keep up everywhere that they aren't hands down the best class (first and last sections). For VOG hunters are best for making orbs at gatekeepers, which makes doing the portals much easier. 2 hunters popping GG and killing those stupid sniper goblins makes that section much easier. They are also the best at bringing down the detention shields at templar, 2 good hunters will save you some teleports. Before we all knew the way, hunters were the best at the maze as well. Hunters don't have anything flashy, they don't drop bubbles or rez themselves. What they do is a bit understated. They can generate orbs VERY well with golden gun and in certain spots the invis ability is great. All 3 classes are good for PVE, but for a bad player, the hunter will be the hardest to play and least useful. Once you know how to play a hunter though, they can be VERY useful in any spot.

Pvp > pve

It will be void. Titans will be solar. Lock will be arc

Invisibility?

Check out my voidseeker suggestion here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/103985082 The post details how each of the current subclasses follow a particular focus/role in the game, and that each subclass is missing one particular role (in addition to missing one elemental type). The voidseeker is a group support focused hunter subclass utilizing the void element.

I ain't no hunter but they are very useful as Swordbearer with their high speed.
