I would like to the ability to take any lower level drop and upgrade it to legendary status of any vendor gear for a given price. Example: I get a common drop (white engram) weapon/gear and I like the look and/or stats. I could take it to gunsmith/gear-smith and level up to uncommon drop. For a given price. Price could be glimmer, motes, or sacrificing weapon/gear of next class level up. The weapon/gear would keep the basic stats and look; only changing the attack level/light level. Also, i would get a RNG perk tree addition to fit the new class level. I should be able then to re-roll for a price for a change in perk tree (again random) I would also have to level up the new weapon/gear in each class level before i could upgrade it. This would repeat for each class: common (white) ---> uncommon (green) ---> rare (blue) ---> legendary (purple) *note: it should stop at latest vendor light/attack levels and shall not equal or pass raid or exotic weapons/gear Essentially, i could level a weapon/gear from common drop until legendary status (current vendor levels). 1. This would make use of all weapons of the game since launch. 2. People would actually care to inspect and review non-legendary drops 3. Everyone could be unique in look, weapons, gear, and possibly gameplay
