Seriously, the only reason people AFK and screw off in ROC and Weekly Strikes is because the RNG system is crap right now that rewards crap players that suck or do nothing, and punishes the players that are good and perform helping the team. I have lost count how many times I have seen a player that sucks, that I had to revive over 9 times, or one that AFKed walk off with a higher tier exotic, while the players that do anything get blues or Bloodpact. Same is true in PvP.
It is like RNG was setup to be a handicap for bad players:
Oh, you died 10+ times, or seems you couldn't do anything. Here's an exotic to make you feel good and help you out.
You on the other hand didn't die once, or minimal, had the highest number of kills, or close to it, and/or actually performed. You obviously don't need help so here is some token blue gear and a shader.
RNG is where the problem is, and always has been.

RNG is not a problem......it rewards everyone even if it's not the reward people want

Do you even know what RNG means? How can a random number generator reward someone based on how they did. It's random. AKA not based on anything.

Hey I'm not the best at PvP I'm pretty good but do boneheaded stuff but I don't believe I've ever received much of anything either being good or bad when playing.

You know when try hards realize they aren't doing well they will quit because then, it won't be worth it to complete because they won't be the ones getting the good reward.

This is not the case, if someone does nothing and gets rewarded everyone remembers it. The person who gets an exotic by dominating the strike, no one remembers

The point of RNG is to be completely RANDOM. If you give the good stuff to the good people then the bad people wont have the equipment to improve.
