Don't get me wrong, I love Destiny, but I don't get why they bombed so much with the storyline. Halo was released in November of 2001. The story/campaign was amazing. I don't really care about how the story plays out, but I'm not a fan of so many missions being in the same area as the last one, just with a different objective. As you moved forward in the halo campaign, you didn't repeat any areas. I just dont get how 14 years later, with all the new technology and manpower they couldn't even make the "campaign" anywhere near as good as halo. I know they had some complications with certain people being on board with certain ideas and they had to change it accordingly. I feel like maybe Destiny was the true beta for what's to come. Like I said though, I love this game and I'm not bashing it, just wanted to give my 2 pennies. Anyone else curious about this or feel the way I do?
Edit: so basically -blam!- Activision, those greedy dick biscuits
