I'm tired of breaking the bank; proceeding to the exclusion zone and farm glimmer for hours. This is ridiculous Bungie. Such senseless grinding.

Edited by iMoto Bro: 3/22/2015 5:09:38 PMGear should cost Vanguard Marks like it did in the first Iron Banner. It was 10 marks per item which seems fair if you've already put up with the grind. But even if they bumped it up to 25 marks per item that would be fine with me.
-
Save all your consumables in the bank from now til the next one and you will have a lot of vaulted glimmer.
-
Get the gatekeeper checkpoint and put some blue polyphase u can get over 400 glimmer each wipe or more
-
They need to increase glimmer cap.
-
There just needs to be more fun ways to earn glimmer and higher glimmer cap
-
you have to be joking everything in this game is already spoon fed to you, and you think it's too time consuming to farm 10k glimmer?
-
You're doing it wrong if 10k Glimmer take hours It takes me 15-20 minutes Whats so hard to do the following There is 9 majors Kill 8 and lets the to phalax kill you ( dont have to go to orbit) Rinse and repeat People who take hours to do so just dont have common sense
-
Agreed. Petition signed.
-
Why do you care? It's PvP not PvE. You don't get killed in PVP aksor
-
I so agree. You get no glimmer for winning crucible as it is. So they basically make you grind 2 things. Arrrrrr
-
Lol noob
-
The one post by a fallen that I would bump
-
Agreed. It's stupid and purely exists to tie you to the game for even longer.
-
What else would you spend your glimmer on these days anyways
-
You don't need to farm for hours. I can hit the glimmer cap in one hour.
-
-
They're potentially the best weapons in the game... why wouldn't they be expensive?
-
Just increase Glimmer cap.
-
Lol i bought chest for Hunter and boots and chest for Warlock. Also Jolder's Hammer. Now I can't afford to level them up bc no glimmer :(
-
Iron Banner should give more glimmer itself. I already grinded the rep why should I have to bring the glimmer?
-
Farming for glimmer isn't too time consuming. I found that doing 5-6 roc strikes easily gave me 8-10k+ .
-
Or maybe make glimmer easier to get because right now the only worthwhile things to buy with glimmer IS the IB stuff
-
Its worth the farming runs though
-
Edited by mrwazzabi: 3/21/2015 11:24:28 PMBump It should cost crucible marks just like ib1. Back then it costed 10 marks per item
-
I feel like the cost of upgrades and gear is good, you have to economize a little and glimmer has actual value, but I think breaking down partially or fully upgraded gear should definitely yield more glimmer. I mean, you pour thousands of glimmer in, you'd think you could get 500-1000 back out.

I think the prices are fair. Grinding glimmer is not that bad. However, it would be nice if the glimmer cap was raised a bit. I usually have to buy a few ammo synths every couple of days just to keep myself away from the cap. I don't even need ammo synths thanks to xur.
