Headset advice please help
Hey so I go one to do Crota HM and my headset died as you can imagine I was mad. Gave up trouble shooting it and went to ear plugs with a in line mic.
Want to know what you guys think I should buy this weekend. I had the turtle beach px5
I want to know what people think of sonys gold ones who have had turtle beach.
Bestbuy has the newer ones of mine the px4 which are 99.99 at best buy this week.
I know top end ones will be recommended but I'm not looking to spend more then 150 and 200 max.

OK I bought pulse elite and the px4 I then took apart my old px5 and fixed them. Ideal because I can return the other two. But I gotta tell you guys, if you think gold or elite sound good you're crazy I recommend getting true Dolby on your next set. I really do appreciate the help and tips. :) - chris

I use the Gold from Sony. It has a good mic with separate volume for chat and game. The charge seems to last at least 4 hours for me so that is plenty of time to do even a raid barring a million glitches, lol. I always keep a back up pair of Skull Candies around to wire to the console if the charge is done anyway. The Sony Gold allows you to use the free PS4 Headphone app and Destiny Profile which gives you a simulated 7.1 surround. The sound is pretty damn amazing to me and I am an audiophile salesman. FYI, I don't sell Sony headphones.

I have 2 pairs of the Turtle Beach PX4's, 1 for me and 1 for son. We have had many different headsets and many different consoles. Very happy with the sound quality and settings (my son can hear footsteps in COD AW). Buy them at BestBuy and get their 2yr warranty and you can bring them to them for replacement for any problems. If you order them online you would only have the manufacturer's warranty and have to mail them if they're covered.

Hey thanks everyone I think I will go with pulse elite. It seems not matter what I spend. I can only get them to last 2 years. Also some site bh somthing other has them for 87.99 so can't beat that. It is a reputable site, I just have never used it.

2 RepliesGo with Tritton. Honestly cheap and good sound. When surround 7.1 headsets come out I would suggest you pick on of those up.

2 RepliesWhat system do you play on? I have a PS4 and I use the Sony pulse elites. They are a step above the $99 pulse gold sets, and sell for about $150 at best buy. It has 7.1 virtual surround that is awesome, 6 different sound modes, 10-12 hour battery life, and plug in with a usb input. There fairly comfortable but the longest I have worn them is 9 hours (IKR?) and then they were a little uncomfortable.

3 RepliesAstro a40's or a50's. They're not cheap but they're worth it. I still use my a40's from 3 years ago. Very comfortable.
