DESTINY "UGC" weapon design contest poll.

Yes! A community weapon design contest would be universally awesome.

No! A community weapon design contest is not a good idea.

Please Bump if THIS is something you, or a friend would be interested in after voting. Thank you and much respect for reading. Bungie.... I know you catch tons of flak for "being silent" with community. I know there are rules, and stipulations, and things we may not be aware of due to contract stipulations and fine print titled article 7b section 412 paragraph 6 line 121. I'd really like to know if Bungie, with of course community having to relinquish any/all rights to creative content under any UGC (user generated content) regulations by you, if we or any of the community would be allowed by you and Bungie to have a contest where the community could enter a contest and submit weapon designs in the categories you've already established in the game. With of course Bungie and it's developers chosing 3 of the top designed weapons to be implemented into the game by you for not exotic but just "legendary" weapon bountys. It is a rare thing, a developer, involving itself on that depth with its community that would be in and of itself legendary to take it's community and implement such a developer to community connection. It would reinvigorate your community, RE-establish a much needed connection, and not only show that Bungie is more than just any developer to its community for Destiny but also show Bungie just how passionate your community is about your game. I see players leaving, and of course want the community to stay. I see reviews speaking some half truths, because they want viewers over any controversy. But I don't see a game that doesn't have the potential to become legend. And I see a developer who can become more than legendary. So yes. This is directed exactly towards Bungie. It is directed exactly to its developers. And it's directed towards any and all at Bungie who have the ability to involve the community on a level that most developers dare not go. Additional notation: It is only the history of Bungie that I've experienced over the last decade that has given me the faith to believe Bungie could implement something like this. To have something like this, with your community, is something other developers really do not attempt. I would think Bungie is about breaking down those barriers and being not just any other developer, but also part of their community with Destiny. Respawn failed at being involved with UGC. Dice failed with it also. Trion worlds was horrible with Defiance community. Steve Fakuda at Respawn straight out told Titanfalls community he wouldn't add anything the community widely asked for, Dice patronized their community and Alan Kertz ignored community constantly removing in game content players had already unlocked and earned, and Lars Buttler riddled his community with content as in game rewards that were only useable if players payed $10 on the DLC the rewards were attached to. Bungie is supposed to be better than those shady developers. Bungie was the developer other developers had to respect because of Halo. Be that developer again. Be part of your community. And work with us, not silently behind a EULA out of touch with your players. Sincerely, A gamer since the Apple, Apple II+ Computer era and a starving artist, War Priest
