Next Update MUST include server fixes
Please Bungie, it would be in your best interest to fix the servers. It used to be just me (even though I have better internet than Destiny claims I do) but now everyone on my friend's list is getting lagged out of servers with weasel, baboon, and monkey error codes. Last week, I was playing Crota's End and RIGHT BEFORE we received the Deathsinger rewards, I lagged out of the game. Nothing but frustration was in my mind. Next, I tried fighting Crota. 2 minutes before Crota was killed, I was "weaseled" and shot back to the title screen. No rewards. When we tried rerunning those parts, me and three others joined the game continuously before we were finally weaseled.
Please. Server fix in the next update would be WONDERFUL.

1 ReplyIt would make a big difference to a lot of people if they would consider some fixes to the servers. It's always a slap in the face to read the updates and see they've done nothing we've been begging them for that is necessary for the games survival. Then xur comes and it's another groin kick. Then grind thru nightfalls for crappy legendaries and materials and finish with the uppercut. I think what they try to so is disappoint you so much that when the smallest good thing happens, you think it's great!!! When it's not, probably should've happened weeks sooner, but we're so used to being let down. Oh well. Grind on.

My only issue with lag is Crucible and Iron banner basically PvP. I've never experienced the smooth gameplay I've been hearing about in Crucible. If Ghallahorn wasn't a random reward in Crucible and Iron Banner I wouldn't be playing it at all so when I get Ghallahorn I am going to edit this comment with, "I am going to shove my Ghallahorn up your servers asses Bungie."

Fixing or even switching servers will cause down time. Even with scheduled maintenance people still whine and complain about connectivity issues. I would love it if they updated their servers, but the community is full of cancerous potatoes that'll go crazy if any downtime or connectivity issues happen. I don't suffer through constant zoo animals though.

I agree. Spend some of the money you've taken from your customers to upgrade your servers and keep us happy.

1 ReplyI agree, somehow it needs help. Played a crucible match where the entire enemy team was dead and half my team was dead for over thirty seconds. I know cause i got to watch the little clock as i repeatedly mashed X while watching my teammates fruitlessly search for enemies. Pvp seems the worst, but stuff in raids has bigger consequences when causing a wipe.
