While I do like the look of the game, there's a review on Game Spot and a YouTube video of someone beating the whole game in five hours.
He didn't "cheese" or cheat the game, didn't skip any cutscenes (because they aren't able to be skipped apparently), just played the game, and was done in five hours.
That... sucks balls. Watching the video, The Order makes Battlefield games look like they have epic stories when compared to it. This is highly disappointing, IMO.

Thoughts?

If it's 5 good hours it's worth my money. I will have destiny to go back to when I'm done.

The guy did a speed run on easy mode.

When it was announced I thought it looked extremely fun and thought I would get it right away. As the release date got closer the game started looking worse and worse. Same happened to me with evolve. After buying assassins creed, which was my worst purchase in recent memory, I have become very wary with new games. The only games I have for next generation that really blew my mind and felt worth every penny were gta5 and the last of us, which aren't even next gen games. Destiny is a great game, but it was still a huge let down. Assassins creed was a massive let down and I haven't touched it since the month it came out. I don't think I got halfway through it. Watch dogs was a minor let down. Far cry was whatever. Couldn't get into it even though I loved the last one.

It wasn't the full story the game is around 10 hours.
-
The game looks grey, like just grey, and some brown I guess. Bloodbourne looks so much better and has the same art direction.
-
They used a CGI commercial to make it look cooler but honestly 5 hours is pathetic. No game company puts in any effort these days. Also, this should be in #gaming not destiny.
-
Why did you put yourself in the tags? Seems really douchey to me
-
I was reading the other day that the devs had been sending out a 'review' copy of the game that had only about 3 hours of game play, with large chunks of the story missing. This lead to a lot of complaints about the game being really short. However the devs stated several times there is a minimum of 12 hours worth of game play in the full version.

Watch this. Jokes aside this will give you some info. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TABPXoQfVY8

Yep I read the game is only 5 hours long and that's including the cut scenes. That's pretty sad. I wonder how many pre orders will get cancelled
-
I mean most RPGs only have 7-10 hours of the main story (Skyrim, DA:I, Destiny) it's all the extra stuff that takes most of the time, so I'm guessing the 5 hours was slightly exaggerated and they only did main storyline content. Idk I haven't seen a lot about it nor do I have a ps4 anyway but just throwing my two cents in. If the main storyline really is only 5 hours the, ya that's disappointing but not really anymore so than destinys content
-
What is the game about? Trailers don't really do much for it.

Edited by Hairy_Beans: 2/16/2015 2:13:01 PMI was hoping it was gonna be a Multiplayer game with single player story. Like battlefield 4, you can do the story as single player quite fast but the main part of the game was the multiplayer. Seems a bit garbage to have a single player game only thats beatable in 5 hours, they have failed before its even released.

Take it to #gamimg
-
High quality graphics = low play through time Mediocre = mediocre Low quality = low Big budget, took their time, didn't pair with activision, got a good publisher, didn't get greedy = amazing game

Was looking forward to this... Let down
