Xur is not random and Bungie made a good move this week

At this point, I think people got the feeling that Xur's inventory may not be completely randomly generated. In the following theory, I can see why Bungie decided to sell ice breaker again. 1. Ice breaker was just sold two weeks ago "Ice breaker was sold two weeks ago, why is it sold again?" That's exactly the point. Because most players already have ice breakers, having more of this ammo-regenerating powerhouse sniper rifle in the game has minimal impact on the longevity of the game. Bungie most likely analyzed the game stats and found that the play time from players has not been significantly reduced since the ice breaker was sold. So it was a safe choice for them to sell it again. Plus a lot of the new players would love to get their hands on this gun if they missed out before. 2. Why ice breaker? Well, it is because ice breaker used to be the second most sought after exotic weapon in the game and you cannot deny that this weapon is great. Think about how many people complained about no land beyond being the worst exotic when xur sold it. Bungie picked ice breaker so at least the community would not complain about helpfulness of xur. Remember, most veterans already have their ideal end game builds, and there is a very narrow list of exotics that may still pique the hardcore players' interest. Most of them don't "NEED" the exotics; they are just "collecting" them. I think Bungie made a decision to focus on newer players to bring everyone up to speed, and ice breaker would be great help. All in all, I think Bungie made a strategic move on this week's xur inventory in hopes to strengthen their business plan. Share your thoughts and let's keep Destiny strong.
