[ CLAN OUT OF ORDER ] Since, DirtyDeeedz, started this clan in '13, we took on our roles as Guardians. We fought Hive, Cabal, and Eliksni, and stood victorious. We Stood as one for many years, losing some to other groups, or other games, but we remained. Come D2, our leader asked me to hand power to him so he could dissolve the clan, and I saw to it as we were the last 2 remaining Guardians. It's now 2024 and this group is empty. I am alone. This clan and group is no more. Though the Darkness remains, Guardian Elders [ELD] is no more. -Sgt_Frog ( psn: Frog_Tengu )

Story of the Guardian Elders: Part Two

Here it is guys, the second part! This one is more lore oriented, but still pretty good in my opinion. And don't be afraid of giving my criticism. Just do it in a polite and respectful way. Now, enjoy! Guardian Elders Log 2: Initiation After waiting in my chambers for a few hours, I set out to the main plaza. As I was walking, I noticed that there were little to no Guardians strolling around the Tower. Normally the Tower is full of Guardians going about their business. But not that night. The lights were dim, and the Traveler was silhouetted against the stars. “I’ve got a bad feeling about this…” I thought to myself. I clutched the sheet of metal in my hands, as I stood in the center of the plaza. I said out loud, “Predakae? Predakae, are you there?” I heard something hit the floor behind me. I turned, only to see Predakae standing there, arms crossed. “For a Hunter, you make a lot of noise.” I said, jokingly. “Trust me, if I wanted to remain silent, I would have. But that is not why I brought you here.” He replied. I looked around the plaza once more. “I honestly don’t know why I’m here.” I said, holding up the sheet of metal. “I was hoping that you could tell me.” Predakae looked at a nearby wall, and walked over to it, pressing against it. He glanced at me, and said, “I won’t tell you anything. Yet.” As he spoke, the wall opened to reveal a circular hole, which lead to a dark tunnel. I walked towards Predakae, but he pointed down the hole, and walked right in. I followed him, with our Ghost’s lighting the way. “Where are you taking me?” I questioned. To which, he replied, “To our leader. He will see if you are worthy to join us.” I questioned further. “Leader? Worthy? What are the Guardian Elders? And what does this have to do with me?” He raised his hand and urged me to stop. “Trust me, all your questions will be answered shortly.” I nodded, and we walked in silence to a dead end. I was about to detail our predicament when he pressed against this wall as well, which opened up to a room very similar to the Vanguard’s chambers. In the middle sat a rectangular table, with maroon banners depicting an insignia I had never encountered. There were lights on the side, but few and far between, which gave the room a golden tinge. I was too busy examining the room to notice the six Guardians situated at the table. My gaze was brought to them when Predakae began to speak. “Steel, these are the people who govern our organization, the Guardian Elders.” He took his seat next to a Titan adorned with cobalt armor, bearing the insignia of the Future War Cult. “And what exactly do you people want with me? I don’t take part in these faction wars.” I said, crossing my arms. “We know Steel. Trust me, we try not to get involved with the factions either. Only for business purposes.” The blue Guardian replied. I walked closer to the table, and leaned on it with both hands. “Who the hell are you people?” I inquired. The man walked to me, talking all the way. “I will tell you all. But first, introductions. That cobalt Titan is Col, one of our most valuable soldiers. He’s racked up more Fallen kills than anyone else.“ Col saluted me. “Glad to meet another Titan.“ I saluted back, glad to see that there was another Titan. “The woman is Goddess, one of the best close combat specialists I’ve ever seen, especially for a Hunter.” She waved and bowed her head. “Always a pleasure”, she said, dusting off her cloak marked with the Seven Seraph’s symbol “The Warlock is The Sergeant, the heart and soul of the Guardian Elders. The other Warlock is Benz, whose radiant light protects us all.” The two of them threw a small ball of void light at me, which then burst into the words ‘Hey Steely!’ I crossed my arms and chuckled under my breath, but took note of their bond’s, which were marked with the New Monarchy and Osiris symbols respectively. “And you’ve already met Predakae, the best marksman out of us all.” We nod to each other, but then I looked to the man in front of me. “And who are you?” I asked. “My name is Deedz. I’m the one who founded all you see here.” I looked around once more. “Shiny, but not much.” I said. “Yet.” Col replied for Deedz “We have great plans for our operation.” “And we want you to join us.” Predakae finished “Why me?” I questioned “Well, for starters you don’t have any interest in any of the factions that occupy the Tower. Neither do we.” Goddess replied. “Then if that’s the case, then why do all of you brandish a faction logo?” I questioned. “That’s because we must be reminded of the past in order to move forward” Predakae replied, smiling slightly. “That aside, you’re an excellent fighter. A jack of all trades, but master of none. We could use that. “ Predakae added. Deedz then looked back towards the other Guardians. “My comrades and I are tired of the constant struggle between Guardians. And we want to change that. We want to be an example of what the Traveler wants us to be: protectors of humanity, All the while helping our fellow Guardians on their way to becoming legends. We will unite us all under the banner of the Traveler. But that day is not this day, or the next. We must work to achieve that goal. We are already gaining prestige with the most influential of Guardians. All that’s left is to secure the framework. We need people, which is why we contacted you.” Deedz inched closer. “Now, will you join us?” He held out his hand. I looked at it, then back at him. “I don’t know if your plan will work. This is a shoddy bunch, but…” I shook his hand “It’ll be worth a shot. Besides, what do I have to lose?” Deedz smiled, then walked over to the table. “Then take a seat. We have much to discuss…” We talked about plans and aspirations until the morning. Then, for the following weeks I trained with everyone else. We trained with our weapons, our hands and feet, but we also trained our minds. We improved our ability to pilot our Sparrows and Fallen pikes. But most importantly we began to trust each other. But that time would be cut short when we were dispatched to the moon. Our mission was to find a cadre of Guardians that went missing a few days prior. If only we knew what we would unleash…
