... At least for the Xbox One, I don't feel bad about sharing stuff about it. Loving this game, and had an awesome moment a few minutes ago where I basically got a Perfection Medal in their version of Team Slayer (over 15-0, win the game, good stuff). Adoring this game.
Originally I was scared it would play like Call of Duty, since it was 'Call of Duty with parkour and mechs.' But after playing I realized... this plays absolutely nothing like that game, nor any other game I've played thus far. Surprisingly, it's a unique twist on some old concepts and is incredibly fun. I'll definitely be picking it up now.
So who'll be actually buying this thing? A shame it comes out the same day as Dark Souls 2, but ah well. Glad to see a military shooter mixing up the formula so much.
Also totally sharing an awesome DIVEUH-KICKUH moment I had in the link. I like how the game tells me it was awesome when it was actually something awesome, rather than just every time I kick a guy. Pretty legit, there. This is a game that is really good at making you feel... well... good.

I'm jelly. I've wanted to play again since Pax.
DIVEUH-KICKUH
Watching that video and reading this just reminded me what my friend kept doing on dead island lol
-
I was planning on getting it at launch but now that I've played it I'm kind of leaning back towards getting Dark Souls 2 instead. Just have yo wait and see
-
The only thing I'm concerned about is the Smart Pistol. It has the potential to make the game very irritating. Hopefully it doesn't end up dominating everything else.
-
Played it in UK at Eurogamer. Wish we'd had tutorial as this made all the difference. Agreed that it has a lot of nuance that makes it very different from COD
-
Yeah I'm definitely getting this. Actually getting the CE. Not worried about the smart pistol. It's great against bots but pretty ineffective against players if they know your there. It is so different than COD. The titans are great and I can't wait to see what a full team of my friends can do.

Edited by MR E0S: 2/16/2014 3:30:34 PMWhat I see, is a game that is the exact OPPOSITE of everything you people wanted Halo to be. You cried about all the cool abilities they added to Reach. So, if I see anyone on Bungie.net forums ejaculating to this game.... you're a hypocrite. Cause this game has what looks like.... Sprinting, jetpacks, wall running, different loadouts that you can choose instead of weapon pickups on the map, etc. I mean, have you people finally realized what a bland experience it was that you were asking for or what?
-
All I can say about the game is that, without the parkour, this game looks like CoD, but with the occasional big guy to mix it up. So to me, the game looks fairly meh. I'm sure it plays great though.

Edited by CAMMCAM: 2/16/2014 4:35:11 PMJust got done playing the tutorial. About to play now. I already have it preordered.
-
I've got it preordered. I'm starting to grow a little wary of it because it's pretty much the same as the alpha, but once more maps and gametypes are put in I'll be happy.
-
My jimmies hit maximum russelment when I heard this news, oh well, anybody wanna play?
-
I played it for a few hours and already got bored of it. Might pick it up later if I can find it at a cheaper price.
-
I'm not worried about the "wahhhh it plays like COD wah" I tried the beta, it's a lot of fun that's what matters to me so I'll be buying this game.
-
Public? As in anyone can download it from the Xbox One market?
-
I guess its fine that it went public. I just no longer feel special about having a beta code. Amazing game so far.
-
I don't get how people get bored of it. It's so fast, it's incredible.
-
Edited by AngryBrute: 2/16/2014 5:39:48 PMRuns flawlessly on PC. Very fast paced, highly addicting.
-
I hate the smart pistol. Getting killed by the laggy player with it is annoying as getting killed by a noobtube.
-
I'm really enjoying it too, on PC rather than Xbox though. I really like how the two styles of play make you think differently. On-foot, it's just about moving all the time and taking shots it everything you can, while Titan combat is slower but more strategic. I suppose it does remind me a little of Call of Duty, particularly the on-foot gameplay, but I haven't played Call of Duty in years, so I'm not burnt out on it.
-
Smart pistol looks extremely cheap
-
Maybe I will get it on PC, if it can run on the 360 it can run on my Laptop.
-
Since I'm not very experience with many games, my friend explained it like this..
It's like the handling of COD mixed with Mirror's Edge, ShadowRun, and an actually enjoyable Mech game.
-
Is there an ability that let's you start off the match in a titan? That happened to me earlier, and apparently no one on my team knew that you have anti-titan weapons, as I was the only one trying to kill him...
-
Anyone wanna play?
-
Right now I am just hoping for the PC beta to open up soon...
-
I've really enjoyed my brief time with the game, ready for March 11!
