Add One Hint Thread

Basically if you have a hint, add it here. I'll start with the one from the wall I posted... Sooooo... You get a legendary weapon and want to upgrade it. When you complete bounties and have stuff available at the postmaster... DON'T REDEEM THEM UNTIL YOU HAVE DECENT WEAPONS AND ARMOUR EQUIPPED YOU NEED TO LEVEL UP. Equip all the items that need levelling up and then visit the bounty rewards person and redeem them. Just turning in three bounties I managed to fully upgrade my new green armour and three guns as well. Now later levels will need more than glimmer and experience points. So remember to recycle your crap weapons often. I basically trashed anything that wasn't green in the beta. Got a ton of parts from it.

  • There is a loop in the Rocket Yards that will earn you a ton of glimmer and spinmetal. I ended up going round the loop, going into all the rooms, checking the ledges and by the time you reach the start of the loop again the chests and spinmetal has respawned. I was going to post a video of the loop but seems like others did it too... but most of them miss a LOT of the chests on that loop. When Destiny goes live I'll record a loop for the clan.

    • in terrms of crucible play i always went with auto or scout rifles. i felt they better suited the competitive gameplay. special weapon was a shotgun although i am gonna swing my nerf bat at them. fore heavy i went with a rocket launcher, i would rather be able to get the jump on someone with one of those then have to ready up a machine gun. for gear especially for the beta i just paid mostly attention to the damage. common or uncommon was nice, but if i had a common weapon that was more powerful than an uncommon i used the latter of the two.

      • Auto rifles. Hands down my favorite. Put the sights on their head and it just wrecks shop. I take the closer range sights as well.

        • Ether seeds are really better used when you know you are going to the middle to last part of a story mission. Guaranteed enemies that will give more glimmer. Ten minutes isn't a long time and it really can be wasted on the explore missions. And grab all the spin metal if you didn't in beta. They can be turned in for vanguard and or crucible marks.
