Can't believe Bungie is wasting their time on weapon tuning. Make a full game before tweaking the small things damnit

I don't mind the principle of the tuning. The game has to be fun for the majority of the population. Like, too many one-shot kills with one weapon means everyone uses it or loses to it (in pvp), or uses it or loses their spot to someone else using it (pve). But their announcement suggests on one hand that they're blindly tuning based on database stats to make 'damage' (time to kill) the same or that they're tuning to make each weapon meet their 'vision'. It is their game, so they do have the prerogative to mess with the mix, but when their 'vision' for a weapon doesn't match what's been in play for months, they are majorly screwing the received 'vision' which countless players have built by actually using the damned things. I can't imagine the tweaking is taking away any serious effort from the other larger, structural changes (or additions to content), so no harm in multitasking.

I agree with the changes, but I also completely understand the common negative replies. I would find the changes more appropriate if the Crucible actually had a competitive ranking system. But it doesn't

I hear you, yeah.
