You can also just kill the ogre. It's not that hard with a sniper rifle. I always jump on the back rock by the bridge and snipe it when it spawns. Way easier than avoiding it.

On hard? Being an elite level 33 ogre, he won't flinch to sniper fire. Sniping is what i usually do on normal, but on hard i find that chaining the invis abilities is much easier and more reliable.

Yes he does. It's just not after every shot. Empty your sniper and switch to primary.
