Yep nice and easy unless you have other guardians who refuse to share.
I always wait if I see another guardian heading towards that spot so we both get the kills. Seen a few times when people solo it, deprive me of the kills then stand there to stop the respawn.

Stand next to the rock upstairs, you'll get the credit and can go down and pick up your drops when done
