1 ReplyI too have put an insurmountable amount of time in this game without ever getting a gjhorn. Then one day not to long ago I got it in a chest drop on vog. I was so excited I could not hide it as the song goes forcing my buddies to hear me squeal like a little girl. At that point I was only missing the necro & hard light and recently got the necro from crota. Through out this journey to obtain all the exotic guns I did at a point want xur to sell the gjhorn and then the hard light until I got the gjhorn. The rush I got from getting a super lucky role for my account after the 100's of hours put into this game is lost on just knowing it's going to be sold by a vendor at a certain point. That's why while I really want the hard light I'm fine with it never being sold. It's so much more rewarding getting it in some sought of activity than being handed to you on a silver platter. I'm glad he hasn't sold the gjhorn and may never will, a gun like that should be earned just because it's so much more rewarding that way. I'm still trying to find my hard light...

4 RepliesXur does not and should ever sell this weapon again. You should earn it from loot chests or nightfalls. It's a trophy gun and they would just nerf it if everyone got it. So blammmmmm offf

Edited by COBRA_x_Dubai: 2/8/2015 6:29:34 AMI got my third Ghorn this week, all in same week btw. one from DS hard mode was the last one alive finishing the trash after taking down the DS, the second from beating CROTA on hard, I was dead when my team mates finished him off and got my second Ghorn, and the last from the exotic chest in the VOG on Hard. So it's pretty much random. I've been waiting for it for so long, and finally 3 dropped in the same week. RNG all the way. Wait for it, it'll come to you.... Good Luck

I actually agree with this post, I too have been unlucky with the RNG aspect of the game, I grind, I nightfall, I weekly lvl30 I do all that should provide with legendary and exotic engrams, yet nothing is what I receive. I had to buy what I have, and now with Lvl 32 players only taking lvl32 players into there teams and others stating only Ghorn equipped players at 31 can join, the unlucky players are getting pushed aside. This happened to me just the other day when I was invited to a team, I joined with a friend on mine who was 32, turned out they just wanted him but he wasn't on there friends list and I was kicked. Needless to say they are no longer on my list.

I'm fine for Xur to sell it, but I'm fine for him not to sell it. My only thing is the drop rates are terrible! My husband has been playing raids with 3 characters faithfully and hasn't gotten squat :/. I understand it's random, but they could always share some more love than this!
