I recently got Young Ahamkara's Spine from a legendary engram, and would like some opinions on them. My hunter is only lvl 10, but once he gets to lvl 20 or higher I would like to know whether to stick with these, or go for something else like Don't Touch Me.
Edit: Forgot to mention my hunter is currently in the subclass with the Golden Gun, not Blade dancer.

Edited by Combo164: 2/2/2015 12:27:44 AMDefinitely go with the Don't Touch Me if you don't have the symbiote or mask man. More super from kills (which means more golden or blade dancer) > longer lasting tripmine (really pointless unless in pvp). Plus invisibility with Dont Touch Me which, though situational, it could come in handy here and there. If the spine is your only exotic though, keep them.

Symbiote Helmet gives a bonus bullet in Golden Gun which makes a huge difference. When I don't really need it I use Don't Touch Me. Sharded Amarakahs (?) Spine twice.

Stick with ahamkara for golden gun... Don't touch me for blade dancer if you're going to max out invisibility. If not and you're going to go for max arc blade then get 3rd man mask.

They're amazing for crucible.

You need to level Blade Dancer because it's more useful for the current CE raid (along with DTM gauntlets).

Pretty awesome for defending confluxes in VOG. Or place a tripmine in front of thralls for extra time to escape, move back or reload. And they look badass to top it all off. Cheers gaurdian.

Decent but not good enough when compared to the other exotics available.

Edited by surviveapocalyps: 2/1/2015 11:26:29 PMi would first try out bladedancer see if you like it if you dont and prefer gunslinger and know how to use your trapmine effectivly then yes the young ahamkara spine are an amazing exotic gauntlets

Symbiote helmet for gunslinger. Third man mask for bladedancer. Don't touch me makes you OP in crota raid

If you can get your hands on achlyophage symbiote helmet (1 extra shot for golden gun), then you should use that for gunslinger. The ahamkara's spine is not that great, but can be useful at some situations. Also the don't touch me is pretty good.
