I experienced something strange last night. Wanted to get a quick solo mission in before going to bed. Started playing around 12:30am. I decided to do the Daily Heroic Story to get vanguard marks, the story was the Isthar one, fighting the big Kell guy. I’m currently level 25, so I decided to up the difficulty from 22 to 24 to get the Ascendant material. Long story short, I ended up playing for like an hour and a half trying to beat it, it was pretty hard cause I was by myself, but I finally destroyed the boss. When the mission ended I wasn’t awarded any items, no marks, no ascendant material, not even any special items. I noticed that the daily heroic story had changed when I went back to orbit. It’s weird because I started the daily heroic story after midnight and never quit while I was attempting to beat it. One other thing that was weird was that while I was playing in the mission, it wasn’t keeping track of my precision or ability kills. When I would die it always showed my precision kills and ability kills at zero, but that definitely wasn’t the case… I remember thinking it was weird… It did keep track of my overall kills though, even when I would die and respond, the kill count would go up. Normally i wouldn’t care about this stuff… but being a dad and an (somewhat) older gamer I don’t get to game as much as I’d like. I admit Destiny has sucked me in, but it sort of sucks when I decide to stay up till 2am defeating a boss and don’t get the items that were the reason I chose to continue playing for. Just hoping you guys can help me find some clarity, and wondering if there is any way I can get the rewards for the heroic story?. Love your game! Thanks for making something so enjoyable!
