I see everyone complaining about running crota six times and not getting crux... Not getting the exotic they want every week.. Remind these people of games from the past that had ACTUAL low drop rates.
For you runescape players out there, how many clues did you do and get nothing?
How long did you have to raid on WOW to get anything at all?
It could be much worse guys, remember that.

Atleast in runescape you can keep grinding bosses and clues and all that fun stuff. in destiny it's once a week? it's pretty boring after you're done doing all that stuff then what else is left? oh wait...nothing because we have to wait until the weekly reset to try again for loot.
-
Much worse.. as in only getting one shot a week? Lawlz

1 ReplyTokens of luck are crap and perfect tokens also suck. No look at the drop rate of some of the good stuff. Stop crying.
-
7 RepliesEarthbound. That is all
-
2 RepliesAtma in final fantasy 14 a realm reborn... Need 12 of them and they have about a 1% drop from events that occur in the open world. Some of the people i played with took them over a month of farming... Lol

2007 Runescaper here.

Maple story pre-Big Bang.

thing about rs is that you're not limited to one boss battle a week, you can grind everything for hours. destiny you only get a set amount of chances a week

Dragon Chainbody... Dust devils... So many dust devils.

Clue scrolls were a pain in the ass!!

1 ReplyIf only there wasn't a limit on how many times you could run the raid or if it was twice every 24 hours then it would be great. This weekly crap makes PvE useless after Tuesday or Wednesday. After raids/nightfalls it's PvP till the next reset. Bungie should stop trying to extend playtime by adding limits and weekly caps and trust their fanbase to keep playing the game even if they remove all the crap. Yeah some people will quit but a lot will stay and enjoy it even more. As long as they keep adding new content and events of course. Trials of Osiris is all I hear in competitive chats. Still no word on that from them though.

Game with the lowest drop rates I've ever seen was Lineage (1)

6 RepliesEdited by Torus: 2/2/2015 2:06:22 AM#Runescapelove! Hours upon hours of grinding and no Elysian sigil or when I was grinding Bandos in the godwars and it took 500+ hours before I got my first tasset drop. All you people grinding destiny an complaining about no Gjallahorn after 1 week of gameplay. GROW UP AND STOP COMPLAINING!
-
Dear god... You have a great point... Give this man something! A damn Klondike bar if anything!
-
Lineage 2 = no drops
-
11 RepliesYeah, but there's a reason why those games aren't all that popular. Or fun.

Worst farming grinding game in history -- LINEAGE 2 --- You beds 15000 charcoal and 25000 wood and 30000 iron to make 1 blade for a what would be here a legendary sword --- oh did I mention you need 6 blades 2 hilts and 1 boss raid drop gem to actually make the sword and oh wait you can't just make the sword you have to find another player who either knows the recipe or you need to supply the recipe as crafting the sword eats the recipe too Oh and did we mention that only the lowest level mobs drop the base components and if you out level the mobs your killing as that lvl difference increases has a smaller chance to actually drop any loot Oh yeah and by the way every time you die you lose XP, can possibly drop your gear and have people steal it, the world is open pvp, and oh yeah as an extra bonus you can actually de-lvl your character losing the ability to use that gear you worked so hard to grind for That is a painful game and most of the drop rates were 1 in .0000009293% to get anything unless you were a dwarf character and specific sub class that could force manipulate the loot tables for better drop rates mainly more that 1 item So yeah Destiny is a walk in the park
-
Final Fantasy 14: ARR. Low drop rates for items and you also have to hope RNG allows you to get that shiny new weapon. Or your friend gets it.

Runescape was the definition of grinding destiny barely compares

Could you imagine if they brought in some of the boss mob mechanics from EQ?like if ANYONE killed Atheon, he wouldn't spawn again for a week.
