I have a fear of falling up. It's weird because I know that gravity is on my side in this case, but whenever I'm under a starry night sky (which I love btw) or in a building where the roof is really high (basketball stadiums) I can't look up. My blood rushes into or out of my legs (can never tell) and I lose it. I have to either close my eyes or hold onto something. The worst its ever gotten was when I was in DC and went to the base of the Washington monument. I was so freaked out by its size that closing my eyes and holding onto something didn't work. I sucked it up and managed to wait until my family were done checking it out, but just remembering it now makes me nervous.

I get that way when I lie on my back and look up at a really tall ceiling. That's the worst.
