if you're an avid pvper you get max marks usually in a day or two. It's only a chore for you non-pvp kids.

Agreed! 34 wins a week to max out the marks is a pitiful amount. Reward the hardcore player!
-
I agree with you.. The crucible is fun, I don't even take much notice of the marks until I'm like, shit I've maxed them already!!
-
Not everyone enjoys playing shitty crucible. I hate it and it's a chore just playing one -blam!-ing game. How do you expect me to play the amount of games for 100 marks? If they gave more marks then it wouldn't be as much of a chore which is good.
-
It sucks for you because 1) you suck 2) you don't run with a group 3) you play the wrong playlist. Control is a shit show when you play alone, that's why when I play alone I play rumble or skirmish. Less people to depend on to win in skirmish and no one but yourself to depend on to win. I cap marks so easily that I have to spend it on mats just so I don't overlap my marks.

Edited by AyyLmao: 1/27/2015 9:42:51 PM1. I don't suck I have an average KD of about 1.20 I'm not good but I'm not bad either. 2. That wouldn't help me either way. 3. I play Control because I can't stand 3v3 or 6v6 tdm. Not everyone here sits on Destiny 15 hours a day playing shitty pvp to cap out at 100 marks. They need to make it so we get more marks. That way more people can play and easily get 100 marks. The achievement is just mocking me.
-
It would take you 15 hrs a day to cap out, rofl. If it takes that long (even though I hope that's an exaggeration) then yea...you do suck. Ever play FFA? If you're decent like you say, you will probably win more than lose I would hope. They go buy faster and even if you lose you get like what, 2?
-
So you're saying it takes no-lifes less than 15 hours to cap? Alright good to know I guess. No I don't play FFA because it's shit and so is pvp. I just find it funny how anyone enjoys pvp..each to their own I guess.
-
Assuming every Crucible match took 10 minutes (often they take less time than that for Skirmish or Rumble) and you lost every single match, it'd take 8 hours and 20 minutes to max out. Add in a little extra time for matchmaking and I'd say around 9 hours to max out for all average to long games and all losses. That's 9 hours over a week. 1 hour a day each weekday and 2 on the weekend. Maybe a solid time investment, but hardly "no-lifing." 15 hours is an impossible exaggeration if you don't run in much slower gametypes. Since your goal is just to max, there's no point in running in playlists that promote longer matches anyways.
-
Giving someone who is average pvp player or doesn't enjoy it at all you wont see them cap in 8 hours. A more realistic answer would be anywhere from 10-14 hours depending on game type and the person.

Lol way to twist words.

Hey no need to get hostile on the dude who doesn't like Crucible. And btw, I play solo always, PvE or PvP- control and never had a problem. Running with a group in this game would be a bit unfair on the other side, never have, nor will. Yea KDR will go up like 3 times but the fun will be cut to a third - no point putting down hapless enemy when there is less of a challenge. And yea almost no use of shotty or fusion, often go full match without deploying super, cuz having too much fun gunning or doing mobile sniping. Just saying, different ways to enjoy Crucible and still do ok, even when playing alone.
-
Running with a group has always been unfair...it was what made Big Team Battle in Halo Reach unplayable...you get int there and the WHOLE DAMN ENEMY TEAM has the same armor and tags and you're like GREAT its a clan... I do not miss those days.
-
You took my comment as hostile because I said he (might) suck at it? Lol wow. You go whole games without using your super? One of the things that makes this game fun, especially in pvp. Play how you want because that's how video games are suppose to be. Was merely giving reasons as to why most people don't enjoy it. And yes playing control with 6 people is overkill because 90% of the time you play with people playing solo, but in skirmish or doubles that not the case. I've always enjoyed FFA in fps so it's my go to playlist, I love the 1v5 aspect and the chaos it can be.
-
See this is the reason I stay out of Crucible. People like you have ruined the games with your tryhard ego bullshit. "Oh look at me I'm so pro because I camp and use cheap weapons please pay attention to me." Piss off nobody here likes pvp it's tacky and broken and you can't prove me wrong.
-
How am I being egotistical or saying I'm so good? The lack of comprehension on these forums is incredible...

Edited by AyyLmao: 1/28/2015 6:59:49 PMLook at your posts. You try to insult me by saying I suck which right there says everything. And I even checked out your stats a 2.57 kd? Yeah that doesn't spell "tryhard". How many corners do you sit in? Do you use blink and shotty? Ah..don't answer that I know the answers. You ruin pvp and make it an unplayable experience for many people. Glad to know PvE is where the real fun is at.
-
To start off it wasn't meant to be an insult. I play with people who suck at pvp yet I still enjoy playing with them. Also no I do not sit in corners and camp, nor do I blink shotty all the time. I have plenty of videos captures on my external hard drive showing how I play. Yes I use a shot gun but never just run around with it the whole game. Yeah of course I'm going to try lol isn't that the point of pvp...to win?
-
Well saying someone "sucks" at something does count as an insult...so that could be considered hostile.
-
People suck or are bad at certain things, if a person takes it as an insult that's pretty sad tbh. I'm bad at certain things and I can admit. Guess I need to say 'not good at', seeing as people are so sensitive these days...
-
Even that might be considered a bit much sadly. Welcome to our soft world, aye?
-
Welcome to our soft mindset. It's not the world that's soft, it's you.
-
Some people can't play for 1-2 days straight every week. But that's a problem with the game as a whole. It's known for being grindy.
-
I have a full time job. It doesn't take all day. Just lose less.
