Safe and Easy way of killing Crota on Hard as a Titan
This is a video of my second clear and first as sword carrier as a Titan. The technic is what I feel is the safest and easiest for a Titan. It is basically what we already did on normal when doing it with only 2 people but with some extra changes to adapt for Hard mode. The result is a mishmash of different strategies some of you will be already familiar with.
This is a clean kill but in no way perfect as it was my first clear as sword carrier on hard, I am sharing it in hope of helping some of you guys killing Crota on Hard. There are faster ways but this one is simple and easy while taking no more than 3 swords.
Special thanks to my fellow clanmates of "The Raiders Of The Lost Cats" who helped kill him quite easily.

6 RepliesEdited by The 7th fall: 1/23/2015 2:03:51 AMI never thought of going into an Ogre room to camp it out and kill the first one -fast though-, thus forcing the other Ogre into a bottle neck instead of trying to peek in-n-out on the left step risking Knight boomers, Witches and both Ogres killing ya. +1

I have been doing the same thing since Normal came out....but I put the bubble on the rocks, that way the Boomers de-aggro you and give you some more breathing room

1 ReplyTwo things: Your combo is horrendous and is different each time. You don't need the bubble carrying sword as a Titan I've completed it on my warlock, hunter, and Titan SEVERAL times each with sword. I didn't use it ever.

UPON READING ALL THE COMMENTS BELOW! I FOUND OUT THAT MOST OF YOU WERE SHOCKED BY MID STRATEGY AND THE BOOMER TOWER (OGRE) STRAT. I THOUGHT EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW BY NOW! I'VE SUCCEEDED 3/4 TIMES ON HARD BY USING THIS STRATEGY.

2 RepliesThe strategy I've been using with randoms has been the Titan sets up the bubble around the boomers (I always though it was risky, and at times is was), and another player with the Sword would go for Crota. This looks safer, though would you do more damage to Crota with Weapons of light?

4 RepliesThe only way I would improve this tactic is by having the sword wielder go to the middle platform alongside the rest of the team to rocket/snipe the sword bearer to speed things up. Also, I attach Crota from the right side, seems safer and less prone to boomer fire and danger in general.
