TARGET: Sekrion Bounty doesn't always give credit
Of all the Target bounties this one appears to be broken the most. This bounty came up for 1/19/2015 and ran it multiple times and would never get credit for the bounty. Please investigate! [url=http://www.bungie.net]link[/url]

I have had this happen a lot to me. The best way I have found to deal with it is to be near the boss when he goes down and/or dealing damage... Typically when it happens to me he is dying so fast that adds are constantly spawning. I'll be off trying to control the population when my team kills the boss and I do not receive credit. Same thing applies to any of the bounties that pop up for killing bosses in strikes.

Found that you and your team need to be next to each other. Otherwise the kill will be given only to the person who killed the boss

Yeah the nexus does it to. I did it 2 times then got rid of it. Every time I see the bounty I delete it.

I have had to due multiple strikes due to this issue as well. I won't say it's flawless but as others have recently mention the best way to complete these types of bounties within the first attempt is do ensure you are looking at the boss and dealing damage within the last 30-60secs before is gets destroyed. I've had a higher success rate since I've been doing this.

If you are dead when the boss goes down you do not get credit. Or if you just joined a game and have not shot him a couple of times it does not give you credit. These are the two reasons that I know of. There could be more? Who knows?

They said you have to deal damage within 30 seconds of the boss's death, but I think you also have to be somewhat close to the person who lands the killing blow. I've had it happen a couple times against phogoth or nexus mind when the person on the other side of the room gets the kill I don't get the bounty completed.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Had to run it a second time. At least it's a short Strike. Hard to believe I didn't damage him in the last thirty seconds.
