Hey bungie, I am really hoping you will read this and will let me know how you guys think of this. Heard from alot of players that it is the thing they are looking for. Right now Destiny is a grindfest. That is not a bad idea or thing but with every dlc it will get worse and older raids like VoG will be left behind then. Since i love VoG, the thing i will suggest, will make it usefull again and ppl will be playing it more in combo with new raids. Grinding will be less then now if we keep your path and make alot of players happy. And it will let us keep "old raid gear" at max light. My suggestion: With next dlc light level will increase again. If you make the normal raid 33, ppl will be underleveld. With the new gear bringing you too 33 ( let me finish plz ) you can make it easier. Raid gear will drop more often then now to make it easier to obtain. When hard mode comes out, the level will be 34. To reach 34 you need an item like crux of crota. Every gear needs 1 of those to be able to reach max light of 34. At completion you will be rewarded with 2 or more, i will leave that too you to decide. That would mean a character needs to complete it atleast 2 weeks in a row to reach max level. But now the bigger reason for this. You can also use those items to upgrade older gear and weapons. To upgrade Crota gear, you need the Crota item to reset the gear and get you to max light. This will only drop on hard. You wont need the new item to max it or you guys should want this. The reason i say not is because Crota gear only helps you inside Crota Raid. Same with Crota weapons. For Vog gear you first need the item you get for defeating Atheon on hard. That will make VoG gear reach 32. If you use the Crota item on it, it resets again and can become 34. Again same for weapons. This part will be alot of grinding yes, but since we like those weapons it is worth it and it shouldnt be easy to get it to 34 in the first place i think. For vendor weapons should be something different. Altho i dont think it will be that bad in case we need to buy new weapons since bungie does that effort to create them. Otherwise alot of ppl wont try to get new weapons and this way we could always use VoG and CE weapons at max damage. So bungie, hope you are still reading. I hope that you would let me know how you think about this and maybe talk about how to make it better or why not. You and me are both adults so a normal discussion is possible. For all other guardians, feel free to list below how you think of this. Also bump it up so bungie can read this.
