EFRIDEET'S baby!
Wooo!
Running almost nothing but IB in the hopes of a shiny reward at the end, and BAM! Last round before I turned in last night, and I actually scored [url=http://destiny.wikia.com/wiki/Efrideet%27s_Spear]EFRIDEET'S SPEAR[/url] !
Man, if it hadn't been so late, I think I would have woken the neighbors up with my excitement!
So, who else has been lucky enough to have RNGesus smile on them this IB? I'm still gonna keep going till rank 4, I want a nice hand cannon outside TLW, and the IB will let me go for the perks I want.
Speaking of, who has managed to snag ES and how many re-rolls did it take you to get the perks you wanted?
I went through 36 motes >.<

Since I already have Ice Breaker and Black Hammer I figure Arc or Void is best for elemental wep. Was thinking Field Scout for sure but torn for the first and third perk slots...leaning towards Outlaw and Firefly. Any ideas??

I got 3 spears, re rolled one 4 times until I got arc with field scout, ambush scope, and armor piercing.

3 RepliesInstead of having to rely on RNG you could have just gotten rank 4 last Iron Banner and Earned it that way. Most people laughed when I bought it and said Praedyth's Revenge and LDR-5001 were better for PvP but when they get one-shot by the final round perk they bitch and moan.

I got two of them two games in a row. Sharded one and re-rolled other for field scout, firefly and crouching ads accuracy. Looking forward to using it in pve once I get to rank 5 so I can stop playing this abomination of an event

1 ReplyBought simars wrath (didn't re roll it) and efrideets spear last iron banner. Re rolled the spear a few times and got one with snappy scope, surplus, firefly, and field scout. Was happy with those and kept it. Field scout brings the mag to 6 now which is nice.

1 ReplyA spear dropped for me with Final Round and Unflinching (easier to aim under fire). Sounds to me like the perfect one for PvP! Since its impact is so high I suspect that the Final Round shot will kill with a body shot. And I just now got to rank 5 and re-rolled for my new Timur's Lash (my favourite gun in the whole game). Got the perks I wanted (grenadier+field scout. also has rangefinder). Feeling awesome. Now to grind stupid glimmer because Bungie doesnt respect my time so I can get other stuff I want.

I got mine last IB and it came with Firefly and Surplus! It's been nice to me!

I had both weapons drop for me, Spear is a beast. It's especially beastly with the right perks.

I got the spear yesterday too, have also bought the launcher and gauntlets (they aint dropped in the raid yet so now i have 4 legendary 32 armor pieces so im free to use whatever exotic i want) and got 2 ships. I re rolled the launcher and sniper spending 30ish motes doing so. Launcher (re rolled to get arc damage - as so far i have no 300+ arc launcher) - perks: Tripod (holds 3) Perfect balance/single point sling/field scout - i'll use either field scout or perfect balance Who's next (kills with final round speeds up reload speed) Sniper (re rolled to get arc (only legendary sniper i needed) - Perks: Performance bonus (kills grant bonus ammo) Lightweight/send it/skip rounds - Probably will use send it (due to one of the scope upgrades that boosts reload and stability but knocks down range Firefly - NICE! quite happy with those will be buying timurs lash tonight when i hit 5 - i have 40 motes left. Hoping to roll: Rangefinder/outlaw/zen moment (any of those) Perfect balance or send it (i dont see the point in explosive rounds as i'll be using it in pvp and i dont want some of the damage going elsewhere on a hand cannon) Luck in the chamber (really want) but will settle for final round or third eye if i have to

Edited by brose one: 1/17/2015 4:34:44 PMi got my second Spear last night. first time I've gotten 2 IB weapons and they were the same. (FmyL) I'm a butt-hair away from level 4. I'll probably play through the rest of the event hoping for the AR or ship.
