10 was the upper extreme, and way too sensitive. So I've been using 7 instead. I can now perform a turnaround in about 0.65 seconds. Longer than I'd like, but it seems to be the best compromise.
I still liked the default of 3 for aiming straight ahead, since with 7 I overshoot my targets due to its sensitivity. I'd prefer to use 3 and have an 'about-face' button for quick back-checking.

I feel that a 14-16 number sensitivity scale would be appropriate for the large variety of players in this game. and am i just a weirdo who thinks 10 is too slow? i swear 10 in this game is like 6 or 7 in cod BO II.

Hey, you're not a weirdo. I think a lot of players, especially ones who come from other competitive FPS games, would agree with you. I personally find 10 too finicky, but that's great that you seem to have it under control! It would be nice if Bungie could accommodate high-precision players like yourself, too. I usually play a 9 or 10 and my effectiveness in crucible went up. It just takes a while to get used to

Hey, thanks for your response. I'm trying to get used to 10. Some days are better than others, but I hope I can eventually get used to it. Still wouldn't mind that about-face button.
