Mine is only needs the last 3 upgrades and I do a damn fine job on boomer duty. Would be maxed but I had thorn and gjallarhorn to max first. If you are gonna boot people for not having it maxed you are missing out on some great raiders. Have fun doing crota solo.

Sometimes I like to use my half upgraded Patience and Time to deal with Boomers. DEAL WITH IT SCRUB!

A old IB 1.0 is pretty much enough for the Crota fight. Your team must suck at sniping....

DAMN you must be a noob. I had an unupgraded Ice Breaker and I was the one tasked with dealing with Boomers. The Boomers never killed a single one of my teammates. If you NEED a maxed Ice Breaker then you're officially a scrub.

I've had my ice breaker 2.0 and never bothered to upgrade it past mulligan for the past month and a half. Why? Because a real player doesn't need to rely on a crappy sniper that takes up an exotic spot. So what it regens, if you're not camping you won't ever have a problem using a regular sniper. But then again my black hammer and iron banner sniper have more impact then it (;

I still have a 300 IB but i'm usually using the sword since nobody has "legit" experience with it or people just refuse to learn. Am I an exception? It's still considered maxxed

For hard mode i agree, maxed weapons are a must, but if you're booting people on easy mode for not having maxed weapons, I'd say that says more about your skill level than theirs.
