Excellent Swordbearer Tutorial Video: Killing Crota!
Hi everyone,
I just uploaded my first video tutorial on YouTube. The video shows how Hunters can easily kill Crota with 2 swords with the help of a few teammates. If your team has the firepower (read: Gjallarhorns) you can take him down before the Ogres spawn, as shown in the video.
Note: Make sure to enable the annotations for extra tips!

1 ReplyEdited by TigBits: 1/15/2015 12:51:44 PMThanks for the vid - there are many out there who will never admit this - but ive only ever cheesed crota raid - getting a pub group to try normal and not cheese is really hard to do - And on the cheesing note, im just glad bungie patched the main cheeses MUCH faster than they did VoG - it wasnt long enough to scar everyone perm (10 -15 completions + Fix cheese = bunch a scrubs running around lol) anyways - videos like these showing legit ways are really nice and help out alot - i hope to find a group that will take me and show me the proper way to do everything - TBH, Ill prob just post on lfg that im new to the raid and dont know what to do

34 RepliesNot surprised that people are using this as a good example of a Crota kill because barely anyone has ever done it legit. In reality this is a very mediocre sword bearer using invisibility as a crutch instead of team communication and timing. Any 32 can kill Crota in two swords, and this video of the sword bearer and team was impressive only for its mediocrity. Not to mention using the lower hallway for positioning is also a crutch for less skilled players who lack raid awareness and requires a dedicated sniper or two to stay up top. All you have done is teach bad habits and methods to the Destiny masses. Regards, KK

I know a lot of hunters get shit cause they're not as useful in raids but each hunter should be ready to do this whenever they get to crota. I hate when I got a 32 hunter on my team that doesn't know how to be sword carrier. I don't mind doing it but ever 32 should know how to do it.

3 RepliesAny class can kill him quite easily in 2 swords before ogres, they just require skill while the hunter is almost cheesing lol. Not taking a stab at you just saying I'm not all that impressed, this video is designed for the amateurs who struggle on crota and it is a great video for them.

I'm actually quite shocked how much people there were who seriously did not think of doing this on their own. I mean all your skills are there with descriptions, I'm astounded that many never did this. I assumed it was the norm.
