Does anybody know if I plug in a Ethernet cord to my 360 if it'll boost my connection?

I'm not sure. I use an Ethernet cable but I get general networking errors AND weasel (a centipede break-off). So no, I don't think so.

A wired (Ethernet) connection is better than wifi. Wifi is convenient, but there's a lot of overhead in the encryption. Plus there's limitations with wifi, that a direct cable connection will never have. It's like two people yelling across the house to each other, instead of being on the phone with them. If you can bypass your router and connect directly to the modem, you can see if that helps. If it does, then the issue is either in the configuration, or hardware, of the router itself. NAT firewalls can be problematic for games.

Yes it would. I had error codes constantly when i was connected via wifi on my xbox one but since i play with an ethernet cable in it all the codes dissappeared :)
