Who else will miss the crota cheeses?
So the Cheese party ends Tuesday the 13th. I don't know about you guys, but I don't have a whole lot of freetime while classes are going so I'm really going to miss being able to fly through the raid on wings made of cheese. Lamp launch, infinite kneeling, all great ways to speed straight to the rewards that turned out to be almost as much fun as running it legit. I've never been one of those players who thinks earning loot makes me a better person, so I'm just glad my team made the most of these during winter break.
Who else probably won't play Crota's end nearly as much after this patch?

I'll just be looking for Crota CPs anyways until the hard raid comes out, I have all the gear, just missing 2 guns. But I have no problem beating it the legit way, if you're with a good team, it really doesn't take that long

Meh Liked that very first run where no one knew what the flip to do, and it was great. Plus running with a set clan, especially shadowWOLF, was also a big part of being successful.

It won't have an impact on me because I have a good group to run with each week and the full raid doesn't take long. I did solo the lamps a couple times, I'll miss the launch a little bit. Thought it was a hilarious clever use of game mechanics.

I'll look back on it, fondly. Just like the VOG cheeses. It doesn't bother me at all as I can raid normally no problem.

I'll just wait a few days for new cheese. Guarantee one of our beta testers will find it and Youtube it before the weekend.

6 RepliesMaybe if all you dipshits were doing legit in the first place, you could of realized that it only takes 30 minutes to clear the entire raid legit (even with 6 across bridge) and your "time barrier" is actually a load of crap because you're just bad.

the only thing I will miss is soloing a raid lol but way more fun with party legit gets the heart pumping

Because that's just who I am.. I'm not some hardcore fanatic trolling people because they like it easy.. I've done CE on all 3 toons already and going to keep killing and cheese Crota for the hell of it til Tuesday.. Why?? Because it's freaking funny and interesting.. So all you hardcore fanatics who frown upon people who cheese, let's be honest you can't do crap but spew useless words which don't mean crap to anyone else.. The people who swear they are hardcore and never cheese before whine just as much or more than people who actually cheese..

Ill miss it was a great time saver - would run one legit on sunday but the other two would be cheesed through already loads to do each reset was nice to cut corners.

I'll miss soloing the first two sections on all three characters. Then beating Crota with Randoms either way.

was hard trying to convince my team that we had to do it legit this week next week will be a pain if we cant get through it might have to find a new team if it doesn't go well.

I am glad it is patched. Won't affect me much because I know how to do it properly. I usually legitimately solo it up until deathsinger. Need to work on my strategy to take her out. I can't wait

1 ReplyGlad they are gone! Now everyone can play the game the way it was intended to be played. If you dont have time on your hands to play then thats too bad. Wait until you have time. Dont go messing up the game showing noobs how to cheese, then when it gets patched those noobs will suck ass in the Raid bringing the team down.

Having not enough is a terrible excuse. You don't have to play Destiny, especially if you feel like you don't have enough time. Also, the are RAIDS, they're not meant to be some quick fiasco

But the rewards are pointless unless you're running the Raid. "Cheesing" and cheating can be fun, too, it's been experienced. It's like playing with cheat codes, with friends. It's own unique type of fun. But a small fun, one that I'm not too worried about losing in exchange for now being able to convince my friends to actually play the Raid with me.

It's been fun doing it legit and the occasional bit of cheddar here and there, but I'm looking forward to the hard raid and hope all the weaknesses are patched for a real challenge.
