Probably been said before... But how about Eris doing a deal? That girl loves a trade...
@Rank 4 exchange [insert number here] ascendant shards into 1 radiant shard(s)
Yes please!
in a couple of months people will have the same problem - far too many shards/energy with no worthwhile reason for keeping/using them >_<
Happy new year.

You're forgetting that in 8 short weeks, House of Wolves will come out and you will have to use those shards to upgrade vendor/dropped gear to get to level 33. All in Bungie's grind out 10 hours of content to make it last a year plan.
-
Or exchange ascendants into motes?? Or maybe I'm just a reforge addict and this wouldn't be useful to others lol
-
Just get eris lvl 4
-
Would be great, because at least Ascendant Energies are still usable. There is literally no use for the Ascendant Shards, other than leveling an alt to 31 via Vanguard gear, but that's hardly a 'use'.
-
I'm low on A-Energies but would gladly trade ascendant shards for radiant shards at a 10:1 ratio. Or even 20:1!
-
I think them allowing you to rank her up in order to trade shards for energy is good enough, your way would be way too easy jmo
-
Also, my hope is that Bungie has already discussed this and are hard at work coming up with a change. I mean, we can only hope, right!!?? Cheers
-
Or better yet, for me, convert x number of ascendant shards into x number of ascendant energy... Cheers
-
Has the exact conversation with someone yesterday! How about 1000 hadronic (or whatever you have lots of) to 10 new shards while they're at it?
-
Yuupp need this
-
Yes. This.

Yes. This.

Edited by Viral_Assassin8: 1/11/2015 4:54:24 PMIt would have to involve Glimmer and Black Wax idols in the exchange as I know almost all my friends list have 200+ of the ascendant mats. People would be getting them faster the an anticipated and would not be good. This would be my formula for exchange. This would also require at least Rank 4 Eris, maybe even Rank 5-6 for the exchange to be available. 4000 Glimmer, 2 Black Wax Idols, 10 Ascendant Energy = 2 Radiant Energy. 6000 Glimmer, 3 Black Wax Idols, 12 Ascendant Shards = 2 Radiant Shards. The reason it would require more to exchange the Shards is because they have higher value then energy because energy is not require to be max level and there for is not as valuable at this point. Once CE hard raid comes they would be probably on par with shards but will never be more valuable, at least not in this games current state of upgrading. Having the exchange include glimmer would slow people down from getting it over night. Having the exchange include Black Wax Idols will make it still go through Eris.

Trade into vanguard/crucible for rep/marks/chance for legendary engram
-
Need to stop adding materials and currency's we have too much already.
-
Well.. I'm thinking those Shards will come back into play at one point. Then it will be the same crap repeated.. " but why can't we do the Radiant to... "

Edited by Enryu369: 1/11/2015 4:48:24 PMI said something just like this before. I totally agree i have about 300 something energy i would love to trade for radiant energy then trade those energy for shards lol
-
I'm tired of getting the old shards ..... I don't even do daily on harder level anymore because it's a slap in face .
-
300+ ascendant shards in my vault with no use for them...
-
I have around 150 ascendent shards. I have three characters with full CE raid armour. The game keeps giving me ascendent shards. Why Bungie? They are now more useless than Motes of Light.

Edited by AlanElCubano: 1/11/2015 2:56:55 PM+1000 you'll win all my internets if this happens Edit 10/10 would bang
-
Yeah I don't use rhem at all anymore could use them for my lock but I need a couple pieces of armour still but yes I think she should
-
Yes they need to do something. For me, up until this week, I primarily used one character. It would take forever to get all the shards and Energy to level up the raid gear and weapons only being able to raid once a week.
-
And add a lvl 32 daily for radiant materials.
