How does weapon damage actually work?

Saying I have a 331 damage scout rifle and a 331 auto rifle. Which one will actually do more damage per magazine? Is the impact and everything like that taken into effect?

  • Alright so I'll stick with my 331 scout rifle

  • The more impact you have means the more damage can be dealt. The attack dmg determines how much your impact dmg deals, meaning a 331 scout can do better dmg than a 331 auto because it has a higher impact. (Hope this makes sense.) Higher damage= 331 has a higher damage output than a 300 damage gun Impact= determines the amount of damage you can deal (331 will have a better dmg output than a 300 dmg weapon.)
