Bungie pls fix

I would officially like to vent my own frustrations with this game (read: bitch like a five year old). I have been waiting patiently to do the Crota Raid. I waited for 2.0 exotics I thought would be useful, Ieveled them up, I bought plenty of synths, and I finally tried to find a group for a few hours to do the raid legitly. "This will be awesome!" I naively thought as I began to scour the recruitment pages. Unfortunately, I was wrong.... After 20 minutes of refreshing the page over and over again only to see a bunch of "need 5 to cheese", "looking to do full cheese run fast", and "need players; must have patience and know how to cheese" I began to lose hope that I would get to do this legitly. Finally I found a group which wanted to actually try. I secured a spot and we set off. Things were going incredibly smooth. This was my first run, but we cleared the lamps in two runs and got into the gatekeeper section. "Ok, everybody to the back room!" I heard. Not knowing what this is, I followed. A few seconds later, I learned we just skipped pretty much the entire second section of the raid. Thinking I'd at least be able to do Crota legitimately, I pressed onward and we pushed to the Deathsinger. We failed 4 times before half the team quit to get a Crota checkpoint in a new group. Really? On one hand, can nobody stand to face a challenge? The Deathsinger isn't even that hard. I was able to kill both Wizards and Shriekers and get the singer down to half health with a group of three! Just put some effort in and have some patience! Secondly, does nobody do this raid legitimately?! I went on to find a second fresh run group and the exact same thing happened again!! While I understand the singer grants no rewards, it's still fun! How does nobody want a damned challenge?! Even if it takes a while, it's better than killing Valus Ta'aruc for the eight millionth time! This raid is hard to complete legitimately for all the wrong reasons... It's not because it's hard... It's because it's so easy to cheat that everybody prefers to do that! Please, for the love of God and all that is good/holy in this world, patch this goddamned raid! Not only will the flood of tears be so hilarious and massive that it will cause God himself to tell somebody to build an arc somewhere, but it will allow players like me (who, you know, actually want to play the game the way you're supposed to) to do so! Teal deer: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! BUNGIE FIX YOUR BROKEN RAID BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT PLAYING FAIR. D': WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! Thanks for reading that if you actually did. If you cheesed your way through this post, may you suffer for all eternity inside Crota's End.
And I don't mean the raid...
Inb4GuardianTearsCollected Inb4OPSux Inb4StatChecking Inb4OPCantInb4

 • Things stop being challenging and easily become more frustrating the more you repeat them. So as to quiting to skip the Deathsinger I think will happen regardless of a cheese patch so long as there is no point to that part of the raid. After the first few runs it just becomes something you repeat for the rewards. At least for myself and what seem like quite a few people. Wasting ammo and effort with 5 other random people becomes frustrating after awhile. The attitude shifts from "this is fun!" to "I've done this 10 times now and if you wipe one more time because of you I'm going to scream" to " -blam!- it, let's just cheese this because I can't wait all day on you 5 (give or take) to pull your heads out of your asses". I have yet to fully run the new raid, but that seemed to be most peoples point of View on the VoG. Personally I'm just going to try and solo as much as possible, then hit 32 and attempt a solo run. That way I can play without depending on anyone and I can do it legit. Anyhow. The struggle is real one way or the other. The bushy tailed newbie running their first handful of times, or the disillusioned Vet who's bashed up against the RNG for their 12th time and just wants to get it over with.
