Destiny team, I think it's about time custom matches were introduced. Destiny has a huge base and there are an abundance of Crucible players. No doubt a decent size of that population would, if given the chance, look to play this competitively within e-sports. It's really odd for a game within this generation to not have the option to create custom matches, and I guess this is the inverse to those who want matchmaking in raids. Why not give us the option to have both matchmaking and custom games? Playing this competitively as an e-sport would give the multiplayer option another world for the community to explore. I'm aware there are a lot of people (rightly or wrongly) who feel certain aspects of the game are bs but I don't think you necessarily need the option to switch off/disallow supers. Also those who arrange a competitive game on the array of sites out there (guessing GameBattles is still going?) can come up with the rules required, Bungie might not even need to work too closely with them. I think e-sports is a legitimate opportunity for Destiny. After all, Halo was one if not the largest game in MLG. Yes this is a different game but certain aspects are comparable. If you give the community the option for custom games I think you'll find a bunch of people would be willing to take it to the next level. Feedback/suggestions welcome! Thanks for reading.
