this guy can be a pain ... another very easy way to do it is to kill Crota Blades, take their swords and rush to him. Did it with a friend yesterday he did not even resisted and we killed him in less than 5 secs. But if you are using guns on him it can take a while, he has a very high defense and the most annoying part, he disappears very, very quickly! So you need to kill him very fast. Also he does not only show up during public events, he can also spawn just like this.

I've attempted this twice. I'm at the Skywatch as we speak and failed lol. Hit him with Murmer this time around and took down his shields. But by the time this happened, only focusing on him, there were too many enemies around. They dropped my shield and health as i tried to take him out.

nevermind. took him out when the fallen and hive had a huge battle in skywatch. doesnt have to be during the public event

The sides clashing is technically a public event. It takes place instead of the regular event at random.

I don't even know I had killed him , this is how it happened , I got to skywatch and the hive and fallen had their big battle , so all I did was jumped in the air and randomly put a rocket in the middle of the fight and it turns out he was about to die from the fallen majors attacking , if I got there a couple of seconds later I would have missed it , only time I've killed him
