NEED NEW HEADSET. SUGGESTIONS?
Hello Fellow Guardians,
I'm on Xbox one and my old headset, turtles which I synced with an adapter, just shit itself.
I'm looking to buy a new headset as soon as possible, any suggestions?
(price is not an issue if quality is impeccable)
I want these to last forever and have nice clear chat and game sound in ear. Help?

i've had the TB XO four since they came out last year. durable, decent sound both game and chat, good price, but the most UNCOMFORTABLE headset i've ever had on my head. one thing hard to get used to was you don't hear your voice thru the headset, you'll eventually get used to it, but i like the old way better when playing with friends. while it's a perfectly decent set for 99 bucks, if you do marathon gaming sessions like me, you might want to consider a different headset for comfort. note: just saw a certain game store has them on sale for $79, that'd be hard to pass up.

Astro a40s are awesome, just cost a bit of money though : ) The PX4 is also fantastic. Honestly depends on whether you like Astro's or Turtle Beach. If you have a PS4 do not buy the gold edition headsets as they break easily IMO.

I still keep this set for others to use. The only problem that I have had was when I couldn't shut them off when I was done. I just plugged them in the USB port to charge and it worked fine. I never did the update through my PC until after my friend did his. The only problem he has had is occasionally he has to unmute his mic because it is like it mutes itself. I like the quality of sound, surround, presets, and 15hr battery life. I hope this helps. Turtle Beach Stealth 500x is the way to go.

1 ReplyI just bought the Polk 4 shot yesterday...ive never owned a headset and this thing is awesome...its made for xbox one, but can also be used with playstation,xbox360, or your phone..Destiny sounds amazing with them on

These are the ones i bought myself for my PS4. If Xbox has anything similar, I'd highly suggest it. $70. VERY COMFORTABLE and lightweight. You can either plug it directly into your controller of into the port on the cable and plug the usb side into your xbox, and you can change settings on it.

1 ReplyI'm really satisfied with the Polk 4 shot I bought my bf for Christmas. The original complaint was that the mic was too quiet, so the new versions automatically come with a boom mic extension. Comfortable, you can actually hear every little nuance. Normal retail price is about $160, I got mine on sale for Black Friday for half that, bet you could still find a good deal out there.
