You can buy better gear from the vanguard now. If u like doing the raid then by all means get your raid gear. If u want to get to 31 fast just buy the gear and then you can do both raids.

I'd rather not spend days grinding for a vangaurd commendation and all that. Also I am going for the aetheons epilogue if anything.
