Fastest way to level 2nd character?
So with the new bullshit bungie has implemented I'm considering leveling up a second character due to shortage on coins, motes, and shards/energies. Anybody got an answer?

1 ReplyBounties and story on hard. Also do the crucible game mode with the XP bonus each day. Took me 6 hours game time to level my third

I had my friend take me through the story up until Mars. Then I did all the bounties I needed and some crucible and I was a 20 in 8 hours maybe.

Get a high level friend to help you with the campaign Use what you gain from the 1st character to help the 2nd (weapons, armor, ect) Complete bounties Spend time in patrol leveling up, means that later you can speed run with ease

I've leveled 9 characters to level 20, on my 10th atm. The best way, imo, do the story missions on hard until you get bounties. Start doing the bounties and complete story missions as you go. When you're out of bounties and story missions in your level range, go for crucible (if you have the necessary skills to do well in PvP).

Crucible probably though the downside is you fall way behind on upgrade materials because you dont have many engrams.

Best way in my opinion is to have help on missions and bounties. I helped out someone on my friends list and levelled up from zero to 28 in 3-4 days. He had already acquired armour from his other guardians. Good luck.

Have a friend with a checkpoint at the end of all the missions on heroic, tell him to launch it up , join and finish and continue with next mission

Bounties and endless slaughter, get a blue set ready to trade armor in between, I have a titan and hunter and I'm thinking of making a second titan

Save maxed out armor, and pre-purchase Exotic from Xur and keep that shit in the vault. After doing various strikes, patrols, crucibles, bounties, once you hit Lvl 20, equip your saved armor and you will jump to whatever level your armor is at.
