It's really not all that great in PvP either. And shotguns need a buff for PvE in general.

Hell yeah they do! That range NERF killed the one weapon class I loved since you never have enough sniper ammo to snipe all the time like I wish I could do.

Yeah. Trying to kill a minotaur with a shotgun is ridiculous. If you need something close range in PvE you almost always go with a fusion.

I always go shotgun+crotch punch kills them everytime! :D
