There was a Sega Genesis game named Chakan: The Forever Man. The first four worlds were that hard, but the second set was a MASSIVE pain in the ass. Also, you only got 1 shot to fight the final boss. That game was incredibly hard.

I played that game! One of my favorites. The stages were harder than the bosses man. I hated that stage where you were jumping from floating rocks. Mixing the little potions was tight too. Flame swords, ice flames. It was a dope game with a eerie soundtrack. I think it had a powerman 5000 song on it too.

I firmly believe they should remake that game. I enjoyed the hell out of it and absolutely hated it at the same time. SO frustrating but the feeling of success after beating it was amazing.

Hell yea. There's so much games can do now that a remake would craft it into a whole new game but at the same time stil have that dark edge. Imagine Chakan in bloodborne kind of game.
