Not a bug. Raid rewards are random. Te new system increases the chances of "fun" loot when you haven't received any in a while. But that doesn't mean weapons are going to drop every time.

When does this new "fun" loot system become part of the game? Im 8 weeks without Titan or warlock chest drops from Crota.

Really? I've beaten Crota for the past 4 weekly resets and my fireteam members have gotten loot while I have literally gotten only TWO shards EVERYTIME.

15 Crota kills in a row and no raid weapon drop. This is seriously how Bungie intended the loot system to work?

I had killed crota 5 times and got the swordbreaker on my first time and for the next 4 times, I only got shards and energies. Why is this happening?

I'm getting sick of this too, last 3 weeks before and after new DLC I've done raid after raid, strikes and daily weekly and all I ever get is material, the only reason I've got to level 29 is because I've brought armor from ranking up vanguard, I love this game and play anychance I can but seriously give me a break I know shards and that help but I need to gear to rank up!!! No to complain but the people that already have weapons and gear get the better loot, getting sick of "ohh yay another exotic that I have" come on bungie throw me a bone here!!!!

Not even a single weapon or ship. Now I have to wait for next week to try my luck again. Bungie should inform about the patch before the reset not after 6 hours of reset. I truly agree, it is not easy to beat. But the reward... Like SH**.

This is total BS. I just went through with 3 characters today, got TWO F'in radiant materials on each of them, sorry one got a useless load screen ship as well... The RAID should be guaranteed loot drop upon completion, period. Vote this up ^

Just finished the raid. 5 of us got 3 shards while 1 person get 5 loots including a 2.0 suros. I have ran this raid more than 6x with 3 full run clears and got more than just shards. Something is wrong with this recent update. Hope that hotfix they supposably added helps this issue. Id like to be reimbursed to have our raid reset for this week so we could make new attempt. Its only fair. Sadness.

I'm sorry, but that's bs. There should be a guaranteed weapon or gear for the end, just like I always get in the VoG! The hardest thing in the entire game to beat, taking hours upon hours to beat, and to get nothing but radiant shards, which I can get from Eris?! I'm sorry, but that's pure garbage! And now I have to wait a week to try again! THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED!!! Since the release of this game, the loot system has been broken, and now it's worse.

Atheon was capable of dropping only shards or energy. He does not guarantee weapons or armor.

I have never beaten Atheon without getting something. I get duplicates constantly, but have never gotten just shards or energy. I complete Hard VoG every week, and your statement hasn't occurred once. I'm not trying to be difficult or sound whiny, but you must have some kind of empathy doing the hardest thing to do in Destiny, and then falling on my face when I didn't get not even a common weapon for being part of the few that actually HAVE beaten Crota. The frustration is overwhelming.
